Career Fodder: You’ve dabbled in entrepreneurship ever since you were a teenager, and in the past 5 years, your career has progressed in a great way. You’ve been in the media and entertainment industry, worked with major brands in South Africa as an influencer, and now, you’ve ventured into helping entrepreneurs succeed globally. What have you been up to in recent times?
Lihle Nkosi: I’ve been making some major advances in my career. I have transitioned from working in the media and entertainment industry to focusing on entrepreneurship through my businesses. I have a legal and business consulting company named Legal Luminaries Consulting Group and a wellness and beauty business called Luminosa Lux.
As a businesswoman, I aspire to be a guiding force for others in the entrepreneurial world, providing them with the tools and knowledge to navigate the complexities of business successfully. Through these ventures, I aim to create a positive impact and empower individuals to achieve their goals.

CF: Tell us about your debut book, ‘Empowering Entrepreneurs: Legal and Business Essentials’. What was the rationale behind it, and what was the creation process like?
LN: In my debut book, ‘Empowering Entrepreneurs: Legal and Business Essentials’ I aim to provide valuable insights and practical guidance to fellow entrepreneurs. The book focuses on helping business owners navigate the legal and business landscape, empowering them to make informed decisions and succeed in their ventures.
The rationale behind the book was to bridge the gap between legal requirements and business operations for entrepreneurs, helping them avoid potential pitfalls based on the mistakes I made. The creation process likely involved extensive research, drawing from my own experiences, and collaborating with experts in the field to develop a comprehensive resource for entrepreneurs.
CF: At this point in your career, what are the three most important things that matter to you?
LN: In my current career stage, what holds utmost importance for me is personal growth and development, along with making a positive impact and maintaining a healthy work-life balance. As I pursue my third degree, continuous learning and growth remain key priorities for me, both personally and professionally.
Contributing meaningfully to projects and teams brings me fulfillment, and I strive to make a difference wherever I can. Balancing work with personal life and prioritizing well-being are also crucial to me, as I believe that a harmonious life leads to sustained success and happiness.
CF: With Legal Luminaries Consulting Group who are some of your target clients and what sets your company apart from others in the legal field?

CF: Being a public figure, how have you managed to stay grounded, while studying, running businesses and creating content?
LN: Balancing studying, running businesses, and creating content while staying grounded has been quite the journey for me. I’ve managed to keep my feet on the ground and stay humble by reflecting on my actions and staying mindful. The constant support and guidance from my family have truly kept me centered and focused on what truly matters.
CF: What do you feel have been your biggest lessons as an entrepreneur?
LN: As an entrepreneur, one of the most profound lessons I’ve learned is the significance of resilience. In the face of adversity, setbacks, and failures, the ability to persevere is crucial for success.
Resilience is the cornerstone that empowers entrepreneurs to weather the storms and pursue their dreams with unwavering determination. By the way, this is just one of the many engaging topics covered in my book.
CF: What’s your vision for Legal Luminaries & Luminosa Luxe in the next 3 years?
NL: In the next three years, our plan for both companies involves expanding our presence to additional cities nationally. This expansion will allow us to reach a broader audience and serve a larger client base.
