When I interviewed director Hannah Lux Davis back in January 2016, she was still celebrating the success of her collaboration with Ariana Grande, Jessie J, and Nicki Minaj. I have always loved vibrant, saturated colors in a visual form, and it’s usually what I am drawn to in film, videos, and photography, but that’s not to say I don’t love to indulge in darker, more desaturated imagery.
